Last week, Athletic Director and Head Coach George Williams was one of 15 people featured on the 2014 Heritage Calendar, which was unveiled at a ceremony at the Governor’s Mansion.

The calendar honored individuals who contributed to the lives and experiences of African-Americans in North Carolina. The calendar is published by AT&T and available at www.ncheritagecalendar.com.

“It is always an honor when the people of North Carolina recognize you,” Williams said. “Thanks to AT&T and everyone else who was involved in making the calendar.”
