Ultimate is a fast-growing, non-contact sport played with flying discs with the objective of scoring points bypassing a disc to a teammate into the opponent’s end zone. North Carolina is rich with Ultimate talent, boasting recent collegiate national champions & two professional teams. Ultimate matches have even been broadcast on ESPN. SAU has fielded the first HBCU team in the country and will be playing a showcase match with defending national champion UNC Darkside on October 30, 2022 at 1 pm!
